Help Us Deliver Hope
Volunteering Opportunity: Delivery Van Driver
Covering areas: Greater Cardiff, Cardiff, Barry, Neath, Swansea, Mid Wales.
As lockdown restrictions ease our ongoing challenge at Helping Our Homeless Wales is an epidemic of another kind.
Covid-19 has compounded the homelessness crisis and our need for Delivery Drivers to transport life saving essentials to our Street Teams has accelerated.
We urgently need organised, self-confident drivers to strengthen our Logistics Team.
What’s involved:
Loading the van with the Operations Team at our Charity Headquarters in Taff’s Well. This will involve lifting crates so you will need to be able bodied.
Driving a commercial sized van to supply our Street Teams.
You will need to be over the age of 25.
You will need a full British driving licence with no more than 6 points.
You can volunteer for as many hours as you are able to undertake. The times during which you can volunteer are typically between 9am and 5pm or between 6pm and 10pm.
As a Delivery Driver for Helping our Homeless Wales, it’s safe to say that every road you drive for us will help change the course of someone’s life. Help us deliver hope to those who so desperately need it.
